[10 Sep 2007|11:42pm] [ mood | awake ] [ music | the recluse cursive ] i couldn't sleep, so i started reading through my old entries in this journal. what a crazy idea that was - i couldn't stop, and here i am at 12:45AM. for shame! i have work tomorrow. and the next day and the next day and the next day, and i guess this is how life is but my reading makes me miss the (relatively) carefree days of yesteryear. still not sure what i'm doing with my life. simon is happy at sunoco, and i am already a malcontent at my new job of "pharmacy technician" just three weeks after getting it in the first place. i don't like retail, and i  hate old people, but here i am at the biggest intersection of those two things outside of a nursing home. all because i had such a hard time finding even a job like that, with no education necessary. i've been thinking about teaching. they say those who can't do, teach, and i would be the poster child for that saying. i've been "those who can't" for the past two years. i've been miserable and selfish and angry and avoiding most of the people i care about for no particular reason. i resent being older, because i'm not at all prepared to make important life decisions or career choices. i just want to say "it's not fair" and give being grown-up back to my mom, who knows how to handle it better. maybe that's exposing my weaknesses, i don't know. i just want to be happy, but it's taking a lot more effort than i'm giving, i guess. 1 posed to death|strike a pose

AMER HIST Section: 401 Registered M 05:10P 07:40 TUCC 1515 MARKET ST 00513 yeah, those are almost all history classes, i know. whatever. i think i hate film. after three full years of class about it... i know next to nothing. the only useful classes have been the screenwriting ones. and i have dr. urwin again this semester! class number four with him, and i still have yet to take his civil war class... i'm such a creep. i also have schmidt again, with whom i have a love/hate relationship for his style. so, to recap, on the school side: i graduate in a year. .. less than a year. ... approximately nine months from now. .... at least the only thing i'll have in nine months is a diploma. :) oh yeah, and a sweet boyfriend with whom i'll be househunting. i'm happy because: - the yankees are first in the al east. - the philles are fighting for the wildcard. - jakki, amanda, melissa & i are moving into our new house september 1st. please help. i'm sad because: - my purse was stolen, and it is causing me all kinds of grief. - i have to buy more textbooks. - i just noticed on my schedule that i have to go from anderson to ritter back to anderson. fucking lame, that. 4 posed to death|strike a pose
